It’s been a long time coming, but I’m finally getting around to making leather holster patterns available for purchase from my website (here). As those of you that have contacted me have probably already figured out, I love helping and teaching others. It’s my hope that you’ll find my patterns helpful in creating your own leather gear and they’ll help to minimize the frustration of coming up with your own patterns.
I haven’t quite landed on the best way to present the patterns – be it scans of my originals that are simply converted to a multi-page PDF file, or vector-formatted artwork that’s been completely redrawn on the computer before being converted to PDF. Original scans are obviously the fastest for me to output, but vector looks more professional (it’s also much more time intensive to create, and spare time isn’t something I have a lot of). Please feel free to leave a comment below and let me know which method you prefer – vector, or original scans of my hand-drawn patterns.
As always, if you have any questions that aren’t answered in my admittedly long (and still evolving) supplemental “Using Our Patterns” page, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
